The 53rd Annual Meeting of the Paleopathology Association (March 16–18, 2026) and the 95th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Biological Anthropologists (March 18–21, 2026) were successfully held in Denver.
The team of the Biological Anthropology Laboratory participated by presenting @citylife_erc project’s research.
Christina Papageorgopoulou presented:
“Mapping Developmental Stress: Histological Examination of Dental Enamel Hypoplasia and Interglobular Dentine from Roman and Byzantine Thessaloniki.”
Additionally, the laboratory contributed to the anniversary symposium celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Dental Anthropology Association with the presentation:
“Physiological Stress and Childhood Diet in Ancient Thessaloniki (315 BC–1600 CE): Insights from Interglobular Dentine and Stable Isotope Analysis.”
This was part of the symposium titled:
“Dental Anthropology: A Collaborative Discourse on Its Past, Present, and Future.”
